River Grove Recreation has partnered with the prestigious NFL Flag Football League. This exciting development opens up a world of opportunities for young athletes in our community, providing a platform for boys and girls in grades 1-8. Each player will receive an NFL team reversible jersey and families can receive 15% off all NFL Flag fan gear. 

Recreation Director; Katie Muellner stated, “The Flag Football program encourages healthy competition, value of participating, team building and individual development.”  With the support of the NFL, we continue to provide a structured opportunity for kids to discover the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship - both on and off the field.

Mayor David B. Guerin said, “I am really excited for River Grove to collaborate with the NFL and offer this exciting program to our kids.”
