The Veterans Memorial Commission has been working to bring to fruition the River Grove Veterans Memorial to honor veterans, providing a place of reflection and remembrance and a place of recognition to thank the many men and women who have given their lives for this country. It is located at Indian Boundary and Grand Avenue in River Grove.

 

Mayor Guerin said, “The vision of the Veterans Memorial is to honor those who served in all six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, which would include the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force.”
